Lightning Mobility has joined the Astris PME family as of the 1st of September 2021!
Astris PME has been improving lives in Australia since 1952, including servicing ACT since the 1980's. Managing Director Steve Joyce said "this is an awesome opportunity to blend complementary strengths, industry knowledge and resources into one company – Astris PME. This synergy will enable expansion and diversification that is dedicated to improving lives of people with a disability".
Lightning Mobility was founded by Rod Aussel in 1992. Rod said "we have always been dedicated to finding a solution for any challenge that helps provide a greater quality of life for clients. By joining forces with Astris PME we will provide unrivalled expertise and the best range of configured equipment for long term users".
As part of the merge, a new facility will open in October 2021, in Queanbeyan, which is located 10km from Canberra CBD. This facility will include an of a showroom and clinic rooms freely available for therapists and their clients to use for product reviews, trials etc. A booking system ensure the clinic rooms and equipment are used in a COVID-safe way, with experienced consultants on hand to provide support, advice and equipment adjustments.
The entire team from Lightning Mobility have now joined Astris PME and are committed to providing the same great level of service and customer care, with the extra support and assistive technology equipment from the Astris PME range!
