In case you missed our announcement last year, Lightning Mobility joined the Astris PME family in September 2021 and has opened a brand new facility in Queanbeyan.

Astris PME has been improving lives in Australia since 1952, including servicing ACT since the 1980's. Lightning Mobility was founded in 1992, dedicated to providing a greater quality of life for people with a disability. By joining forces, Astris PME provides unrivalled expertise and the best range of configured equipment for long term Assistive Technology (AT) equipment users.

As part of the merge, a new facility has recently opened in Queanbeyan, which is located 10km from Canberra CBD. Clients in the ACT and Regional NSW areas have access to a world class line up of AT equipment, the best range of demo equipment, and highly experienced staff who are dedicated to finding a solution to suit individual needs. As a company we provide totally unbiassed product recommendations from a very wide range of international AT equipment suppliers so you can be assured that the advice you receive is suited to you and your needs or those of your clients.

Our new office and showroom at 3 Dominion Place Queanbeyan includes trial and clinic rooms with a booking system to ensure appointments are carried out in a COVID-safe way. We also have experienced consultants on hand to provide support, advice, and equipment adjustments. There is plenty of off the street carparking spaces, free Wi-Fi, complimentary coffee and tea, and a 'hot desk' area for clinicians to use free of charge before and after appointments.

Our Specialist Consultants for this region are Rod, Wes, Cameron, Brad, Arlen, Darren and Oliver. The team’s combined knowledge and expertise amount to 60 years of industry experience. They are supported by the dedicated Customer Service team of Janelle, Clarissa, Elsie and Breanna. The entire team are committed to providing a great level of service and customer care.
